In the midst of the buzz of news that we hear from the media and social networks, a star has yet died out in the utmost silence. A formidable star, who still shone with the energy of a child’s heart and the passion of a young man … at over 96 years old.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Friend of Picasso, Boris Vian, Jean-Paul Sartre, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Anne-Marie Cazalis and Juliette Gr\u00e9co whose life he shared at the end of the 1940s, he participated in numerous exhibitions at the Galerie Maeght alongside Joan Mir\u00f3 , Alberto Giacometti, Calder and T\u00e0pies and works with Le Corbusier then Restany before traveling the world in search of the different forms of language that have forged the history of our world. He thus became a real driving force behind Semiotic art and, through his research, enriched various areas of automatic writing to the point that Salvador Dal\u00ed considered him a true “pioneer of cybernetic art and electronic writing”.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t Cette volont\u00e9 de parvenir \u00e0 \u00e9tablir une forme d\u2019\u00ab\u00a0universalisme\u00a0\u00bb du langage par le biais de l\u2019art prouve combien Bernard Quentin aimait la vie et les hommes, et qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 tout au long de sa vie\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0un phare vers l\u2019universalit\u00e9 post-moderne de demain<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb (Pierre Restany). Sa pr\u00e9sence et son sourire nous manquerons, mais son \u0153uvre et son parcours parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames. Ils ont su fasciner depuis des d\u00e9cennies de grands collectionneurs ou artistes, dont l\u2019acteur G\u00e9rard Depardieu, tomb\u00e9 amoureux de son travail sur le tournage du film\u00a0Ol\u00e9<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par la femme de l\u2019artiste, la sc\u00e9nariste et r\u00e9alisatrice Florence Quentin, qui commanditait depuis lors de nombreuses pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 l\u2019artiste pour sa r\u00e9sidence.<\/p>\n Nous tenions \u00e9galement \u00e0 saluer le fils de l\u2019artiste, Alexis Quentin, pour le travail formidable qu\u2019il fournit au quotidien afin de faire vivre l\u2019\u0153uvre de cet artiste exceptionnel, grande figure de l\u2019art du XXe si\u00e8cle, dont la port\u00e9e consid\u00e9rable de l\u2019\u0153uvre reste encore \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t In this troubled and uncertain period everyone is relearning to live and adapt in their own way, but for most of us, the moments of introspection that we have experienced in recent months have also allowed us to turn to what makes sense in our lives.
