For the 5th edition of Monaco Sculpture, the Artcurial auction house, in partnership with the Monte-Carlo Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Bains de Mer, will be presenting a selection of iconic sculptures from the 20th and 21st centuries from early April to early September 2024.<\/p>\n
Among the works exhibited in Monaco are monumental sculptures that we have produced in small format for our “ART FOR ALL” collection.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
In these gardens, you can also admire Francesco Marino di Teana<\/a>‘s Aube<\/a>,<\/em> described by Tom\u00e1s Alva Negri as \u201cthe most perfect and harmonious form created by Marino di Teana\u201d. Interested in the circle since the 1960s, the sculptor began by breaking it down, before creating the sculpture Aube<\/em> in 1977, the most telling example of his tri-unitary theory \u201c1 + 1 = 3\u201d.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t L’enfant abrit\u00e9<\/em><\/a> by Parvine Curie<\/a> can also be seen at the Jardins de la Petite Afrique in Monaco. \u201cL’habitacle-m\u00e8re\u201d reveals a stripped-down form, embodying a refuge as much as the comforting presence of a united family. This 1.70-meter work is the artist’s first of this size.<\/p>\n Monaco Sculptures 2024 also features Yazid Oulab<\/a>‘s \u00c2lif-clou<\/em><\/a> in the Jardin Saint-James. A link between gesture and spirit, but also between the two cultures that inspire the artist – Western and Arab – nails best symbolize Yazid Oulab’s work.
