“Sébastien Kito is an artist of withdrawal. Of lines too, because the refined sculpture tends to become a simple vertical or curved line. Rather curved, in fact, because the world he draws is of a cosmic nature. The earth is round, space is curved, the tree is elliptical.”
Mobile, articulated, and hollowed sculptures, often bearing anthropomorphic or animalistic reminiscences, Sébastien Kito’s works have a special relationship with space, closely related to the Japanese concept of “ma,” which refers to the subjective variations of the void connecting two separate elements. The artist materializes, from simple traces and lines, cut-out forms that articulate in plays of colors and transparencies to produce new refined volumes. In this way, he suggests complex relationships or interactions between the sculptures and the space, between fullness and emptiness.
The work “Merle” created for the Art For All Prestige collection perfectly embodies this reflection. A true symbol of knowledge and intuition, but also a bearer of renewal, this noble bird now engages in a new dialogue between the artist and the collector.

“A chainsaw as a pencil, I play at feeding this gallery of portraits, sometimes taking the form of a mask, a skull or a fragment of a mandible, and continuing, according to desires or encounters, my slow evolution in the land of animal singularities.”
When he shapes his works, Quentin Garel works with the material with an obvious love for organic forms. Exploring their materiality while deliberately playing with our perceptions, its changes of scale, sometimes excessive or hybridized, disturb our representation of what exists. For Christine Argot and Luc Vivès, in his Osthéomorphoses “he combines the Beautiful and the False, which nevertheless seems true – a distorted, falsely specular reflection of reality! He is a naturalist artist, collector of extraordinary skulls gleaned from his mind.” In his work on the Monozygote, a phantasmagorical bird skull in a tripod, he thus crystallizes in the same work his concern, but also a certain derision, for the destiny of animals, as much as humans, in the heart of a world in full mutation.

The works of Parvine Curie have a double essence, that of an intimate monumentality which imposes itself through its forms, as much as it attracts and reassures us. The sculpture practice of this artist who was the companion of François Stahly has never ceased to embody her great sensitivity as a woman and mother and has gradually evolved over the course of a life rich in travel and discoveries. Her works are thus marked by the visual, formal, but also spiritual force of the architectures of many cultures which fascinate her. Her love for Spain, and more specifically Catalonia where she lived for a long time, marked her personal history as much as her artistic career and was paramount in the creation of the artist’s major works. This Character “Cadac”, a proud and elegant totem, symbolizes the preponderant place that this small village of Cadaquès still occupies today in the artist’s heart where she likes to recharge her batteries.

Facing the sculpture, we get the insidious but very insistent feeling that the author of this composition is imbued with nostalgia for the epoch of cathedrals. »
In the 90’s, Francesco Marino di Teana conceives compositions where the elements are liberated from their physical properties. Thanks to his work on the cognitive space, he reworks geometrical shapes of apparent simplicity that hide an incredible complexity in their arrangement.
It’s the era of his most symbolic works such as Liberté (Liberty). Erected in 1990 in a 20m high monumental format at Fontenay-Sous-Bois (France) the lines and voids of the work multiply to better create a ballet of extreme precision, exploring curves in the continuity of his researches on the disintegration of the circle. He hence reveals the movement and the rhythms that are able to be extracted from metal, be it in the shape of a gigantic monument of over 100 tons or a sculpture that can be held in the palm of our hand.

« Kriki has participated to the foundations and hatching of what we now name street art. Immersed in alternative punk culture, his youth and avant-garde will un- deniably place him at the head of the emerging artists to be followed both by galleries and the art market.» Jean-luc Chalumeau, 2007.
Starting in 1985, Kriki invents a character, the Fuzz, half robot and half polymorph fetish, whose name is a reference to a title of the Cramps and an effects pedal used by punk groups to saturate sound. Omnipresent figure in his work he has become a real trademark. So much so that the Museum of Modern art of Paris made an edition it. This interest for the Fuzz, now iconic, was also relayed by Louis Vuitton whose patronage enabled the making of an important project that was exhibited at the Kamel Mennour gallery in 2000.
After many metamorphoses the Fuzz continues to appear in the paintings of the artist under the shape of a virus contaminating history of art. As he comes into the Art For All collection, Green Fuzz finds today his way back to the Loft Gallery, first gallery to have exhibited the artist, and to have put up a memorable solo show at the Fiac in 1987, when he was only 23, and then collaborate on different of his editions during the 90’s.

“To introduce the movement is to create life”
Movement has always been a key question in Philippe Hiquily’s work. In the same line of thought of his mobiles and fountains, that he already starts creating at the end of the 50’s, he makes in 1963 a trio of monumental weathervanes of 12 meters high that he installs on the beach of Elvira (Marbella, Spain). Work that he then reinterprets 30 years later when asked by the city of Shanghai to make a monumental project on the occasion of the World Expo 2010. After the success that this work meets, the artist conceives a series of weathervanes, such as Girouette Hiver (Winter Wathervane) that he will make in the high of 5 meters. In front of these mobile works our relationship to sculpture if completely upturned. Our aesthetic experience is not only lived thru contemplation but also by our participation. The artist invites us to play with the work, thus mocking the instructions « do not touch » common in the art world. As it joins the Art For All collection next to the Marathonienne and the Épicurienne, the weathervane is declined in a very accessible format of 18 cm high that still preserves the poetry and magic of her monumental equivalent, and more than ever her playfulness.

“This work is the most perfect and harmonious form created by Marino di Teana. The balance established here between mass and space is incomparable: we see the effect produced by two halves close together but not face to face, separated by a space which, in their interval, becomes geometric, shapeless and timeless because the shape is given to it by the contrast of the opposing masses”.
From the 1960s, Marino di Teana began a real work of exploration around the shape of the circle. He initially endeavored to break them down before creating the sculpture “Aube” in 1977, the most telling example of his tri-unitarian theory “1 + 1 = 3”. In this work, which marks a real plastic and aesthetic maturity of the artist, the energies are concentrated to the maximum, crystallized in the heart of a space charged with all the density and power of the composition. Like the sunrise it evokes, it traces a ray of light, a hyphen linking sky and earth, lines and masses, voids and solids. Having become an iconic sculpture by the artist, it was produced in several sizes, notably in monumental format (Le Havre, Height 4m 50) before being available today in the Art for All collection.
